Big ups to you Giuseppe aka Joey Skee for always putting it down and sharing our vision with the world. I never thought of myself as an Italian American rapper, though I do rap and am Italian American. I remember something DJ Muggs said...something about why Cypress Hill was able to transcend the limits of other Latino rappers...how it's important to just be a rapper not a particular kind or race of rapper, that way we can consider ourselves and our art/music within the context of all that has come before us, a humbling and empowering perspective. Your work deals with identity at its root and i appreciate it greatly! Thank you. More power to all who are committed to expanding, diversifying, and informing what it means to be of Italian descent. Avanti! By the way, that lyric in "S.O.S." is "West Coast to Roma" not "West Coast aroma." Peace!
bravo!
